Bring me home, please

Hello, hello! It seems that i'll be part of the ars electronica jury this year in the Digital Communities category. As such i'm invited to recommend projects. I might have a couple of ideas but i thought that some of you could help me out with better suggestions.

Deadline is soon-ish, it's March 6, 2009. All the details are here. Please do send your tips to my email address, as a comment to this message or as a del.icio.us link ( using /for:regine).

Muchas gracias.

Hello Regine,
I just read this and is great opportunity remind you about dance-tech.net, the on-line community with a focus on the interdisciplinary explorations on the performance of movement. I started it 18 moths ago with the launching of a social networking site and a knowledge backbone of interviews and partnerships. The community has thrived facilitating synergy for creative and journalistic collaborations. Yesterday, we launched dance-techTV as a collaborative network of video channels for live broadcasting of performances, programs. documentaries and lectures, etc.

This network of channels are now available for the community to use and embed in their pages. This is an experiment on collaborative broadcasting giving the opportunity to all the members to co-produce programs using the most advanced HD platforms. Tomorrow we will be having a broadcast from Switzerland and Wednesday from London, Friday from Eyebeam in NYC.
The co-producer pay a suggested donation (what they can) to cover the bandwidth costs.
These site is free for all the users.
I am also developing a collaborative system for sponsorship of residencies.
I will be sending my application soon, but I wanted to give heads up!
Cheers,
marlon

Hi all,
thanks for the feedbacks.
Michael, this is a great suggestion but it is not clear how much the community uses digital tools
marlon, nice one. just spend an insane amount of time clicking through it

Wow! Congrats to Regine!

I am trying to learn something about music that raises chills and pickles ... therefore we created a community site collecting such reports and links to youtube and last.fm of people describing such perfect moments of their life ... if you want to check:
