His Master Card pictures don't differ all that much from the real thing. As in India, the ad says "ex pick pocket" with a picture of a man living pretty down and out on the streets, meaning that the credit card has put him out of work. There is pride in such campains. They go through many hands before getting approved. Too bad that Thomas's work isn't satire.
