Moby, by Louis de Cordier, is a Life-Unit, consisting of an individual sleep module with extensions, such as an antenna, a power windmill and a water collector.

In its function, the project can be compared to a nerve cell that uses its tentacles to capture information and pass it on once it has been processed (...) Once inside the module, the inhabitant is protected against the elements, and can observe their direct environment on a small, integrated screen. At the same time, the surrounding speakers enable them to listen to sounds from the cosmos captured by the connected astronomic antenna.

De Cordier has a great portfolio, i particularly like the way he uses art, technology and his science knowledge to find new ways to get closer to nature.
