Going to Futuresonic
|
Yet another plane at an obscene hour (got to be at the airport at 6.00 a.m. at the latest). I'll be covering the Futuresonic festival in Manchester and talking at the Social Art Panel together with José Luis de Vicente (Art Futura) and Anthony Dunne (Head of Interaction Design, Royal College of Art). While i'm looking forward to check the festival amazing programme, i'm also glad to say that it's the last event i'll be covering this Summer: no more talk, no more workshop, no more festival until September. Doesn't mean that the blog will estivate: Sascha will cover Siggraph (where he's presenting a paper) and ISEA. |

enjoy your break Regine! thanks for covering all these festivals etc., it would be great to see them all but the travelling would kill me so I'm glad you do it. if you get a day off before leaving Manchester I recommend the Lake District (train Manchester -> Oxenholme or Windermere 90mins. then local trains or buses or taxis) it's looking nice at the moment, I should know we live there.
best wishes
Andi
If you're still there tomorrow night (Friday) try to catch the Fennesz show @ Academy 2... Just a thought. A review of Fennesz's Venice, for instance. And have fun! –
