The Environment Agency, in the UK, was noted for encouraging its staff to wear thermal underwear in order to lower energy usage. electricwig has designed a range of products inspired by this approach.

My favourite is definitely the Mouse hand that provides a warm place for your hand whilst still allowing you to use the mouse. (seen at 100% design)

The clothes are the winter version of the "Cool Biz" energy-saving apparel the firm put on the market this summer that was recommended by the Environment Ministry. The clothing uses a moisture-absorbing material developed for the lining of the jacket and its shoulder pads as well as for the knees of pants. The material is said to warm the wearer's body when they perspire.
