The Bubble House
|
In 1964 Jean Maneval created the six-shell Bubble House . Made entirely of synthetic materials, each living unit could be easily transported by truck and available in white, green and brown to blend perfectly into the landscape. The interior included its own range of furniture designed to fit the curves of the shelves.
Production ended in 1970 and only about 30 were ever made. Info in designboom. |
