Making music with ladders
|
People doing strange things with electricity (III) Christopher Bauder and the guys from TonLeiter (or ToneLadder) gave an amazing and hilarious performance yesterday at Dorkbot. They use ordinary household ladders as musical instruments.
They hid sensors and cables inside the ladder and used them as MIDI input devices. They hopped on, hit with their hands, tapped and balanced on the ladder to trigger soundloops. Instead of keys and buttons, this input device is a piece of actual hardware, that everybody can touch and feel. The ladders can also be used to trigger live video streams. |
