Can't believe it!
Not only are we* among the nominees of "Best European Blog" (if the excellent Elastico had been nominated too, I'd beg you to vote for them), but also in the "Best Computers or Technology Weblog" category... euh, yes along with Slashdot and Engadget and Gizmodo. And yes, I know we stand a very poor chance to win, but I'm thrilled to be in such copmpany. Btw, popgadget is nominated in "Best Group Blog." So is boingboing. Ok, you're right, boingboing is excellent, they certainly deserve their nomination at Best Blog of the Year". But at popgadget, we would be so happy if you could "throw us a bone." I also cross my fingers for the World Changing team nominated for Best Non-Weblog Content and for TreeHugger nominated for Best Topical Weblog. * I write "we", not because I'm a complete megalomaniac, but because there's also Max, the hidden half of the blog. He doesn't write but does all the rest: layout of the blog, dealing with technical glitches, trying not to laugh at me when I complain that "it's been an horrible day for the blog today," |

Your blog is the best fusion of art & technology that I've seen online, so you really deserve it. =) I was so happy when I saw you as one of the European finalists, when the voting site's bandwidth problems went away I immediately voted for you, and I also voted for Treehugger, Popgadget and Worldchanging in their respective categories. I must admit though that I voted for Engadget in the Tech blog category. =P But good luck to you against all the other Euro blogs! I've done my part. =D
