Digiwall, developed at the Interactive Institute in Sweden, is an interactive climbing-wall with sensor-equipped grips that register hands and feet. These grips also light up or act as keys on a keyboard and music is played according to your climbing.

Radek Kapica, who worked on Digiwall, explains: "Initially, the climbing wall is to be used as a musical instrument; every climbing grip yields an audio feedback when touched."

Since the sensors react to climbers presence, the wall can be used by visually impaired kids as well, but it can also function as playground equipment where the grips light up and/or make sounds one after another to guide the child playing on it to the right place. The wall can also function in real competitions-sounds or lights can be activated when the climber makes a wrong move.
