Flip-flops remote control
|
Jean-Luc Marchina 's Tongs installation plays on the idea of "interactive cinema". In front of the visitor are a monitor displaying a video and a pair of Japanese wooden shoes.
You step into the shoes embedded with sensors and move around the space, the way you move will decide how the video is screened. Stop walking and the film slows down then stops too. "On tong" is currently shown at the Jouable (Playable) exhibition, at the École nationale supérieure |
