The Afroditi Krassa World View is a floating light which is virtually weightless. It is built from a cluster of 91 LEDs suspended from a silver helium balloon and anchored by a spool.

The design company had launched this summer a Spare Match Campaign to raise awareness of homelessness in the UK.

Inspired by the fairy tale of The Little Match Girl who was selling matchboxes to survive, each boxe contained a personal message from homeless people to Tony Blair. Once one used the matches, the message was revealed at the bottom of the matchtray. Paople had to sign it and put it in a postbox, it went directly to 10 Downing Street. Every empty matchbox that arrived in the Prime Minister's letterbox questioned whether the government has truly got its priorities right.
