Tomorrow Rhizome will host a discussion on "Blogging and the Arts". Rhizome Director of Technology Francis Hwang will chair a panel including Kabir Carter, David F. Gallagher, Tom Moody, and T.Whid.

The discussion will address questions such as whether blogs will change the nature of discourse in the fine arts field, and ways that artists and critics are integrating this new form of communications into their own work.

Tuesday, November 23, 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the New Museum of Contemporary Art / Chelsea.

Having read Tom Moody's very insightful post about the event and the relationship between blogs and art, I think I'd give anything to be able to attend (yes, even if there won't be robots nor cyborgs in the assembly).

Hi, Regine, thanks--sorry you couldn't be there. About 40-50 people, a small but committed group. Please tell Max he did a great job as eyebeam reBlogger--it was random and energetic and I love that he let the Screenfull guys' posts mess up the browser. Keep up the good work there at WMMNA. Best, Tom

I was about to state that one thing I hate about events related to blogging is that if you could not attend to it, later on you dont find any blogs telling what happened and how it was. thanks for your comment though,.
