Public space intervention with a shopping trolley

WALK is a public intervention by Constantin Demner taking place in the area of Spitalfields, East London.

Frames have been placed that point out local histories, facts and personal associations. A line painted onto the pavement by a modified shopping trolley connects the frames and draws a continuous path of roughly 1.8 km. Besides, Public Voice Boxes have been attached to specific street corners, allowing the public to express and share thoughts either related to the walk or any other local issues.
