Pod commuting

A plan to reduce gridlock and cut down on pollution could see New Jersey be the first to implement a new kind of "personal rapid-transit system." The SkyWeb Express stars a series of vehicles that move along an elevated guideway.
The system would be built 16 feet above the ground and connect NJ Transit riders to area buildings, businesses and beaches. The computer-operated pods offer a private ride with no driver and can reach speeds of up to 80 mph.
