Climbing robots catch arsonists???

Warning! I just find one source* reporting the news, but it sure sounds wild!

CCTV cameras which can climb up lampposts are to be deployed in arson hotspots of the West Midlands (UK) to catch arsonists in the act.

The devices were unveiled at an Arson Task Force seminar in Birmingham where police and fire brigades were given a demonstration of the redeployable CCTV cameras.

Sgt Phil Butler said: "The photos which they take can then be downloaded remotely by laptop without the need for any wire connections."
