In this voice-controlled race, two players activate electric cars by making engine noises with their mouth (unable to imitate proper engine noises, I shouted AAAA and it worked splendidly, plus I had the feeling that I was slightly less ridiculous).
The volume level is converted into real acceleration by a programmed application.

The intermediary apparatus is bucket-like helmet equipped with a microphone and at high speeds the helmet starts joggling the driver like in a real race, making orientation and putting the car back on track after the curve too fast a challenge.

Children, parents and grand-parents all wanted to have a try and seemed to have loads of fun.
