Voice activated RFID systems

GlobeRanger, provider of RFID, mobility and sensor-based software solutions, and Cadre Technologies , innovator of logistic systems, are teaming up to develop voice-activated RFID supply chain applications.

Using a voice-activated RFID system, workers in a warehouse would no longer have to manually look up the location of where to place the shipment. Voice capabilities can be used for directing readers to identify tagged inventory, instruct workers on where to place the pallets or cases, etc.
