Underwater bicycle

The research laboratory of the Saint-Petersburg State Marine Engineering University has created Blue Space, a "Dry Multi-Role Underwater Vehicle with Muscle Drive" which accomodates 2 persons.
On the surface, it can reach a speed of 4 - 10 km/hour and 30 meters and 4 - 6 km/hour when below water. The number of on-board systems and equipment is reduced to a minimum, and can be applied in an automatic, as well as in a manual mode of operation. |
