Students document hyperlocal citizens' media project

Students at Northwestern University have put together a report, called "Hyperlocal Citizens' Media: Connecting Communities, Improving Journalism, Building Democracy", which documents the making of GoSkokie, a community news site they built using primarily citizen-contributed content to cover a nearby suburb.
