Pac Man Carpet

The "Pac Man Carpet" is a 200x300cm hand wowen carpet made out of 100% wool.

Its creator, an artist and designer fan of old computer and tv-games, Christopher Robin Nordström (Sweden) said:

"It hit me one night when I was playing old Atari and Namco games how very beautiful they were. I think it is a interesting clash between the old handcraft and the digital graphics."

"The carpet company loved my idee of a Pac Man carpet. They also loved the idea of a hand wowen carpet because it´s basically the same technic used in old computer graphics, the image I build with pixels (...) one of the staff at the carpet company was a computer geek. And he told me that the first real computer was an old wowen machine for just carpets.
The carpet is hand wowen in 100% wool and they have mixed different colours to mach my original."
