Innocent-looking alarm phone
|
Fathered by DDI, Kyocera and Toyota Motor , the AP-K303T or ''PiPit Phone'', is more than a funny-looking mobile phone: it integrates a protection system for kids, women and seniors. When its owner feels threatened, he/she can trigger an alarm to attract the omawari-san (policemen) of the neighbourhood. It should be released on September 4th.

My phone already does that, it's called e911. When I first read this, I thought it might have a knife, taser, or peperspray as well. Imagine a phone that automatically called 911 with a prerecorded alert when you pepperphonesprayed someone. In addition, it would be even cooler if the phone took a photo of the attacker, right before the spray hit them.
