Wifi enters the Old Port of Marseille

The "Vieux Port" (Old Port) in Marseille will be the first European district (if we are to believe the Mayor of the city) to be wirelssly connected to Internet.

Four antennas were installed, each one offering a range of 300 to 500 meters. Users in caf�s and restaurants terraces, on the bridges of their boats or hotel rooms... will be able to choose between connections per hour/day/week or yearly subscriptions.
