Virtual Puppeteers

NESTA Futurelab has invented an online puppet theatre that enables children in different locations to create 3D puppets and to produce their own plays.

Virtual Puppeteers encourages them to cooperate and develop artistic skills by manipulating "virtual balls of clay" to design the puppets. Once children have created their character they can take it to the stage space and interact with other children using a combination of verbal interaction, movement, colour and play to create their story.
