Neil Ferguson used Bluetooth tech to solve the problem faced by hearing aid users who are generally excluded from using mobile phones for voice calls (radio frequency interference can make them incompatible). As he writes "Although the procedure itself is pretty simple, the surrounding issues are good for quite a bit of discussion."
