This championship ended yesterday in Lisbon and this time the Germans won.
Sponsored by the company that created Aïdo (Sony), the RoboCup is an international project to promote AI, robotics, and related field. RoboCup chose to use football as a central topic of research, and the ultimate goal is to develop by 2050, a team of fully autonomous humanoid robots that can win against the human world football champions.
