Sony's Clié out of the European and American markets

Sony is to stop selling PDA on the US and European markets to focus on wireless devices that can play films, games and music. The Clié brand will only be found in Japanese stores.

Sales of basic handheld devices have started to slow down, leading some analysts to predict that ultimately all handheld devices will have to be 'connected'.
