Online travel agency ebookers is proposing flight booking via Wap-enabled mobile.
Customers enter the Ebookers website through its Wap portal to search and book for flights with the keypad. Payment is made via a secure system, allowing users to register and enter a pin number for future use. Brent Spicer, business development director at Ebookers, said: "We see this as being primarily used for last-minute flight purchases but there are wider possibilities for this application as well, such as sending customers SMS travel itineraries, welcome back messages and other direct marketing initiatives."

The after sales customer service is crap. No one picks up the phone even the sales consultant who did the booking. They keep you waiting to speak to Customer service manager and eventually you just give up. They do not respond to the email once the booking has been made and cash paid.
This company has gone top dogs and I would advice anyone thinking of booking through them first try to speak to a customer service manager. They pick up the phone if you select option to do new booking but if you have query for existing booking you are directed to speak to the consultant who did the booking for you but then he never picks up the phone. As they have incoming line identification they know who is calling and they will not answer the phone.
Tried to call UK office e but they will transfer you to Indian call centre where again what you will here is that he is busy or not available and ask you to leave a message which they never return the call.
This is my personal experience and many others on the web so be careful before you book the holiday or air tickets. Another thing to check is cancellation conditions as you might not get any refund in case of cancellation as air tickets are non refundable unless you make sure it is of right class.
