Samsung Fun Club has launched the Samsung Cyber Relay, a competition that celebrates this summer Olympic Games in Athens.

The Samsung CyberRelay is a virtual relay race in which teams compete (nationally and internationally) against one another using their mobile phones to pass a Digital Baton from one "Runner" to the next. Each person accepting a baton becomes a member of the team. A CyberRelay have 20 runners pass the Digital Baton. The clock starts ticking when the Team's first Digital Baton is passed and ends when the 20th member returns the it to the Website. The team with the quickest elapsed time through the course wins.

Players use the website to create and manage the team, track its progress through the relay course, and send and receive Digital Batons.

The prizes to win (32" LCD Television, Home Theater, Digital Camcorder) are definitely more interesting than the concept of the game itself.
