New media age of Anxiety

At a time when many Americans consider journalists no more trustworthy than the politicians they cover, the profession needs to cast a critical eye on itself. Adam L. Penenberg's weekly column, debuting in Wired today, will take a good hard look on the evolving state of media in the online world: studying how traditional publishers are approaching the Internet, analyzing the ways politicians and corporations spin the news, dissecting blogs, and reporting on trends.
