Simultaneous translation via the mobile phone

Spanish (or should I write Basque?) company Dualia has developed a system of simultaneous translation in thirty languages to and from Spanish via mobile telephone.

How does it work? Dualia gives the user earphones with two entry and two exit sound leads connectable to the mobile phone. When he wants to communicate with someone speaking a different language, the two of them insert the earphones and connect with Dualia central control which, in turn, redirects their dialogue to a translator located in Spain. During the connection, simultaneous interpreter alternates translating the two languages.

The technology is so simple, I wonder if/why no one had thought about it before them.

But what happen if you want to talk to more than one person?
