Adidas 1 will be the first running shoe to incorporate digital technology.
Expected to arrive on the market in December, these shoes have battery-powered sensor, microprocessor and electric motor, to sense their environment, calculate how best to perform in it, and then automatically adapt their physical properties to any changing conditions. Their price will be $250.
