Pintokona, a Sushi restaurant in Tokyo uses RFID tags to track and price the sushi presented on a rotating belt. Each tag contains information such as price, sushi type, chef, time stamp, etc. As readers can pinpoint the exact time when the sushi is served, the plate is automatically removed after 30 minutes, so only the freshest pieces are proposed.
