Chatting with cats and dogs

Ok it's not totally new but still, I can't believe it.
Bow-Lingual is the "world's first dog translator" made by Japanese company Takara. The device allegedly analyzes your dog's barks to determine how he/ she is feeling.

It must have been a success, since now Takara is also selling Meow Lingual Cat Translator to make human sense out of meows and purrs. A version of Meow is also on some Japanese mobile phones.
