Sony's car navigator/multimedia player with PC dock features two cradles, one for the car and one to hook up to a home PC. The "motion street guide" is a 3D graphical representation of the road ahead with a golden line showing your way. This super-sophisticated gadget lets you transfer video, audio and graphics files on the hard disk to enjoy in your vehicle, and new map data will be available from July via a web-based update service. For boring hour waiting in the car, the device boosts web browsing, the possibility to connect a rearview camera or a DVD player, receive TV broadcasts, etc. Available only in Japan.
