Actually the title of this post doesn't reflect my opinion, it's the way Afke Golsteijn "defines" her work. It deals with the fragile frontier between reality and fantasy. The artist treats animals like humans, as in fairy tales. Except that here the animals are dead and adorned with ceramics, silver, glass, etc.
