"Yomiuri Global Newspaper - Electronic Paper" is a wall-sized (2.2 meters high and 2.6 meter wide) newspaper utilizing E Ink Electronic Paper technology exhibited by Toppan Printing at EXPO 2005, Aichi.
The latest news are displayed twice daily on this newspaper made of 272 Electronic Paper tiles, each of which is a combination of an E Ink frontplane laminated onto a printed circuit board with pixel electrodes. Headlines and article text are displayed on monochrome Electronic Paper and color photos are displayed on an LCD monitor. Via PhysOrg. |
