Palm vein deposit account
|
A Japanese local bank, Suruga Bank has launched a biometrics-based deposit, for which palm vein patterns are examined to verify the identity of account holders. The "Bio Security Deposit" account should prevent a person who steals another person's bankbook from withdrawing money by checking palm vein patterns in combination with the use of a seal or a personal identification number.
