places have been transformed in nonplaces (see marc auge: non lieux). web space is a nonplace, trains and airplanes are nonplace. malls are nonplace. people changes its own relationships with personal identity and with others in a nonplace. (see the categories used in toothing forum: http://toothing.proboards28.com/index.cgi). the toothing is the natural techno consequence to this.
we pretend to use technology to full the gap between humans in our contemporary places become nonplaces thanks to technology.
